HARP is South Essex’s leading homelessness charity, supporting over 1,000 people each year with housing, advice and one-to-one help when life becomes unstable. Homelessness is rarely caused by one single issue. It’s often the result of mounting pressures; losing work, relationship breakdown, poor mental health, or falling through gaps in a broken system. Our role is to meet people where they are and offer support that acknowledges their situation, without judgement.
Will you help make tonight's someone last on the streets
As the cost of living bites, the crisis on our streets grows. Right now, people in our community are facing a night without shelter, without warmth, without hope. Your donation today could change that putting a roof over someone's head tonight.

Our impact
Homelessness is rising and the demand for our support has never been higher.
Last year, HARP’s team spent over 15,000 hours reaching out to people sleeping rough.
891 people received advice, a hot meal, showers, clothing and other support at our day centre last year.
Last year, 118 people moved on from HARP into their own homes, taking a step away from homelessness.
On any given night, HARP provides a safe place to stay for over 320 people.
