Our strategy to end homelessness
Everyday our team are working towards our vision of a future where no one in our community is left to face homelessness.
HARP’s has four main strategic goals, these are:
Reduce the need for rough sleeping in Southend
1
Develop and deliver services that support long-term recovery from homelessness
2
Invest in and strengthen our workforce to maintain agile and effective teams
3
Enhance and contribute to the development of Southend's Community Connections for the benefit of our clients
4
Some of the actions we will take to deliver our strategy
We’re making good progress against our strategic plan, our key priorities for this year include:
Continue to diversify our landlord relationships to enable best quality of leased housing options.
Launch Ann Terry House, our new High Street home for HARP as a public facing prevention and community hub.
Develop an evidence base for HARP’s approach, the systems to measure our impact, and use our data to influence national homelessness policy.
Consolidate and strengthen partnerships with community groups to enable efficient and best practice for service delivery.
Continue to strengthen our recovery and employment and training offer.

We’re making Great Progress
HARP is part way through a significant transformation and change programme to enhance the services and support we provide to people experiencing homelessness. The needs of those we help are complex, and by working closely with our community partners, we’re evolving and strengthening our recovery models to meet these challenges. This is an exciting time for HARP, as we pursue ambitious goals. We’re deeply grateful to our incredible team and community.
