Are you passionate about supporting people out of homelessness?
We are looking for people who bring a range of skills to the organisation to help us meet our mission.
HARP is South Essex’s leading homelessness charity and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.
It is an exciting time to be joining HARP. The organisation has undergone significant change and growth over the past twelve months and we have ambitious plans for the future which will continue to transform lives.
About The Role
Ref: D02P/T
Applicants for this position must be available for interview 10th September 2026
Could you help someone move from homelessness to stability?
We are looking for people who want to make a real difference in our community. At HARP, we stand alongside people facing homelessness. We provide housing, advice and practical support so people can move from crisis to stability and independence. Each year, we work with around 1,000 local people across South Essex. Some need emergency accommodation. Others need help to prevent losing their home. Many need steady, consistent support to rebuild trust and confidence.
This is not always easy work. It requires patience, honesty and kindness. It means listening without judgement and supporting people on their terms. It is also rewarding. You will be part of a team that believes everyone deserves dignity, respect and a safe place to call home.
This is an important time for HARP. Over the past year we have grown and developed new services, including our new Prevention Hub on Southend High Street. We are strengthening the way we support people — earlier, more practically, and with long-term stability in mind.
If you bring skills, commitment and a people-first approach, we would like to hear from you. Join us and be part of a charity working every day to ensure no one in our community faces homelessness alone.
WHERE IS THE ROLE?
This role sits within HARP’s Central Services team, working closely with the Data Manager to support the centralisation & ongoing development of service and tenancy data into HARP’s Salesforce-based In-Form CRM.
You’ll be helping to make sure the data behind our services, and the reporting we provide to our Board, funders and regulators, is accurate, complete and trustworthy. It’s a role for someone who enjoys turning raw data into something people across the organisation can actually use.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN TERMS OF SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is confident analysing data and spotting patterns, trends and issues in large datasets.
- Has strong Excel skills and is comfortable producing clear reports for non-technical audiences.
- Has experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system, ideally including report/dashboard building or supporting a CRM implementation (training will be provided on In-Form specifically).
- Is methodical and accurate, with a strong eye for detail and data quality.
- Can manage competing priorities and deadlines, working flexibly across a 17.5-hour week.
You don’t need a background in the housing or homelessness sector we’re happy to consider applicants who can demonstrate strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for using data to make a real difference.
